Machame School of Nursing

Tanzania has a shortage of health workers of all types. Church hospitals are these days especially challenged to retain staff in their usual rural locations. With this unmet need in mind, Machame Lutheran Hospital has embarked on a process to begin a school for level A diploma nurses.  This will be a three year program beginning March 2010. Donations are currently being accepted for construction of dormatories and additional educational space.
