Friends of Machame Hospital

Through the years, Machame has had relationships with a number of outside partners who have joined with and supported the hospital in its mission. Currently there are three major partners:

Church-District of Bayreuth & Church-District of Bad Berneck of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Bavaria.

They have supplied support in many ways including providing Medical staff, Drs in charge, equipment and in recent years significant support in the area of medicines and drugs. This relationship began in 1983.

Temple Bible Church of Temple, Texas, USA

has partnered with Machame since 1999. They have provided short and long term medical and mission support staff as well as been a major supporter of numerous infrastructure projects and professional scholarships.

Alegent Health (Alegent.com)

Alegent Health is a Multi-hospital health system headquartered in Omaha Nebraska, USA. They are joint ministry of Catholic Health Initiatives and the Nebraska Synod of the LutheranChurch in America.

Since 2001, Alegent has provided significant support for a number of services and projects.

including hospice, orthopedics, scholarships, construction and general needs of the hospital. Alegent Health has a full time representative serving as an adviser at Machame.
